Current supporting projects

That is why SAHEL LIFE, together with its partner mission SAM global (www.sam-global.org), supports various projects of the UEEC.
  • Medical basic care in Touboro

Thousands of refugees and resettlers have settled in the Touboro area of Cameroon. The health care there is however precarious. For this reason, the medical plant of the UEEC wants to build and operate a new health center in this region.

  • Emergency aid for refugees

In recent years, many families have fled their villages near the Nigerian border. They are forced to settle in other areas. As internally displaced persons they are not treated as refugees by the UN refugee organization and must themselves see how they get by. The UEEC helps the refugees, e.g. With seed or sewing machines, so that they can build a new existence. It sends pastors and coworkers in Resettling villages, who encourage and accompany the people.

  • Building a secondary school for Boko-Haram refugees

Since 2013, the Boko Haram group has invaded and destroyed numerous villages in Cameroon, in the border region to Nigeria. Churches and schools also fell victim to destruction. This has forced hundreds of families to leave their homes and villages and settle in the interior of the country. As a result, there is a lack of schools in the cities and areas of migration. Therefore, the UEEC has started the project of a secondary school. A school building is already in place, offices and sanitary facilities are currently under construction. At the beginning of the school year 2016 the school will start with two parallel classes and each year will be extended by a school house and a class level.
